Have Enjoyed Working with AC by Jay
We bought our unit from AC by Jay a few years back and have had a service contract with them. The Techs are polite and on time (Thanks Shawn) and the ladies in the office call to set up the appointments for the fall and spring service. I soooo love this (great job Ladies). Philip B was awesome
Philip B fixed our furnace, and did an awesome job. Great service. He obviously really cared about his work and making the customer (me) happy. He was also very personable. He fixed our furnace temporarily while the part was coming in just because he was concerned about our baby sleeping. I really appreciated his thoughtfulness, knowledge of work, and great attitude. | ||

None Better
I recently purchased a new heat pump system, both units. I shopped around and got 4 prices. I was immediately impressed by the knowledge and professionalism of the sales rep from AC by Jay. Steve knew his products and his prices. When I gave the go-ahead, I was contacted by the installation coordinator, and put on the schedule. The techs showed up on time, were extremely professional, and impressed me with their efforts to minimize their presence and affects of their work on our home. They were very helpful in their explanations of the equipment, and not afraid to answer questions. Nice guys I would invite back to my home. Then the follow up, quality control tech came and looked things over. This sort of professionalism, from start to finish impressed me. I do not impress easily. When I had questions about the rebates, I was given prompt answers and a type of service I have come to think of as "extinct". The office staff(Miranda) could not be more helpful. Happy Customer
I called A/C by Jay after I had a couple of other valley copanies out to my house and they could not figure out why my a/c wouldn't work. I remembered hearing about them and thought I would give them a shot. I am sure glad that I did. I called to set up an appointment and spoke with Shannon she was very polite and attentive, we scheduled an appointment that was good for my schedule. I was also impressed that the day before my appointment Julie called to confirm that it was still a good day and time for me. The technician Kevin that came to my house was so nice and new what he was doing, he was able to figure out the problem and fix it that same day for me. This company is awesome, they are professional from start to finish and when they leave your home you feel that the money that you spent was well worth it. I haven't had any further problems yet. Thanks you guys are great and I would reccomend A/C by Jay to everyone. | ||

Top Notch Company
I contacted Air Conditioning by Jay from a referral I received from a family member. Everyone that I talked to from setting my appointment to the sales manager Michael that came to our house to look at my problem was so professional and nice. Michael arrived at our house with a smile and I immediately felt like we could trust him. We called him out because the air in our guest house was not blowing much air into the house and our bills were outrageous. He was able to fix the problem immediately and when he was done he explained the problem in a way that I could understand it. They make you feel at ease and happy that you called them. Thanks to the referral we received we now have a new A/C company to call in our time(s) of need. This company is great and they stand behind their work. Great Service; A+ Tech
Having a AC unit go out in AZ is not fun when its hot. A friend suggested I call AC by Jay and a technician arrived within a few hours. He told me what was wrong and gave me an estimate, then he went to work. My AC has worked great ever since. My tech was courteous and polite and told me exactly what was wrong. #1 A/C Company in the Valley
Air Conditioning by Jay is a company that stands by their work and their word. They make sure every customer is satisfied. Their customer service from start to finish is the best that I have seen in a very long time. I just recently had my a/c unit replaced and the guys that came to my house to do the work were great. They were so polite, professional and very knowledgeable. They had a positive atttitude and they cleaned up their own mess. They impressed me so much that they are now the only a/c company that I will use and trust. | ||

These guys are true profesionals
After getting the run around from several companies, this company responded the very same day and the tech Philip was one of the most well dressed polite tradesman i have ever met. he fixed our unit and advised us on how to keep our filter changed and even showed us how APS is offering rebates to test and seal our ductwork. We were very impressed with his knowelege and the depth of his knowledge of our a/c unit. We will use them again. | ||

Loyal customer, approx. 4 years
I first contacted AC by Jay a fews years back when a hit by a July AC breakdown. Was impressed then with technician's willingness to explain the component that failed. I have since been a satisfied maintenance contract customer (spring and fall checkups). Sure, there have been a few variations and glitches along the way. All in all, I'm happy with the preventative measures taken to monitor and maintain my current unit while it is not yet old enough to consider replacement. | ||

Overpriced and their own agenda
They showed up on time, I'll give them that, but with an attitude. The representative was more interested in selling me a maintenance contract than the reason I had called him, which was to service my existing units. When he finally did get around to checking out my units, there was a big show of how he was doing me a favor. All that was missing was the eye rolling. Then, of course, he charged for it. Oh, boy does this place charge. In the end, within two months, I had to call someone else to do it right at two-thirds of the cost of what this place charged. Imagine a bad day with a salesman at a car dealership. You have the picture. | ||

Getting an Estimate for a Lennox or Trane?
Salesman Steve Flaherty arrived and I noticed he was arrogant the moment he arrived. Asking me who had already come out to give us an estimate on a new HVAC, etc. Not only did he talk down to me, but he also broke a blown glass mermaid for my 3 year old without uttering a true apology or offering to replace this. I won't be calling them back or doing business with them even though we called them because they were listed on Kudzu! | ||

Unequaled response to a problem ...
I had a new air unit installed by this company last year - they did a great job on the initial service and a totally professional follow up on the semi annual inspection in May. The unit recently developed a problem that produced a ceiling leak and when most other firms (in the middle of summer in Phoenix when demand for services are at there highest) would try to "work you in" and schedule an appointment .... Air Conditioning by Jay's personnel were alarmed by the problem and sent a very professional and highly trained individual out to my house that very day. Amazing! The front office people are always very friendly and eager to be helpful and the install and service departments are without equal. Needless to say I have in the past and will continue to enthusiastically recommend this company and their great people to all my friends and associates. | ||

I found A/C by Jay on Kudzu, looked at their reviews, and decided to give them a shot to come out for an A/C inspection, and I'm glad I did! Frank, the tech, was very knowledgeable about my A/C's issues, and while he suggested a new unit due to some extraneous issues, he wasn't forceful about it. Very good service
I had a problem with my a/c unit and two other companies could not fix it. After talking to a neighbor i was refered to a/c by jay and after setting the appointment, Kraig was at my door the very same day. He found the problem very quickly and the price was reasonable. He was very polite and new exactly what to do. My unit has been running fine since he left. These guys know there stuff!!! | ||

Hot and no air
An emergency with air conditioning failing on a Sunday morning. Finally on Monday late afternoon Jorge showed up and put smiles on our faces! A big time problem with air but a technition from Jay's in Scottsdale by the name of Jorge quickly repaired a major breakdown. | ||

 | Thermostat - Install or Replace I believe the cost was greater than offered by Empire plumbing who quoted the install for around 80 dollars. I was charged over one hundred dollars for thethermastat install. Jay comes out to give you a quote thus costing you 30 dollars if no work is performed. I accepted Jay because I had some plumbing works also that needed looking into. Since they also do plumbing I went with this company. Granted I had the task completed because I was tired of not having the Thermastat in working condition, lost time and I would have been out 30 dollars. The thermastat works great now and I currently have had no issues. I'm new at getting help to my new home so this has been an experience and I do like the Service Magic web sites convience. I would do business with Jay again but I would first look for a lower price. | ||
